Day 6- PKRA Germany: Light wind racing and meeting
We did not expect any wind today so the racers decided to have a meeting with Markus from the IKA to discuss a few things about the Race rules. A lot of things discussed and I think the future of racing is looking good.
After lunch a light breeze picked up and we had enough to race with 21m2 kites. It was looking very promissing for me, but I got into a tangle with Jonny Heiniken at the start, because he had to avoid a colision with another kite. Luckly we both managed to clear the situation and continue, however I was left with a 3 minute lag behind the rest of the fleet. Somehow I managed to battle my way back through the fleet and finish 9th. I decided that a Protest would not get me any farther up the ranks, so I left it at that.
Tomorrow looks like we could actually have some wind!
